Here's how my garden grows!

I promised to keep you posted on my backyard garden is coming on this year, so here it is.

As you can see, my new roses are starting to flower already and it's all starting to settle in nicely.

Let's hope I can persuade someone to water it while I'm away next week so that it still looks as good when I get back.

Jewellery as therapy

Look what I bought myself today as a cheerie up present!

Or at least past of my treat. The real gift is off being sized and will be unveiled in a week or so.

Keep watching this space (now that I've managed to re-synch my phone and blog).

PS don't my hands look old and wrinkled? Time for new hand cream I think!

Almost spring?

I saw this little beauty today as I was walking to the gym and despite the cold it reminded me that spring is just round the corner.

Hopefully!

Yay!

Stop and smell the flowers

This is my latest craft creation, made for the great UK Etsy monthly challenge.

This month's challenge was on the theme of flowers. Closing date is 31st May and already there are some awesome entries.

I'll do a full round up after judging, but meanwhile you can revel in the beauty that is my entry.

Made from swarovski crystal briolettes and bicones plus two absolutely gorgeous spotty heart shaped pottery buttons from Woodlane Crafts in Doune.
