My first Valentine card arrived today and it's a beauty. (Husband has since provided the second card - all is right with the world)

Handmade at last - but not by me. This beauty is courtesy of my very talented nephew. And came through the post to me at work.

What a great surprise. Aren't I just the luckiest girl?

I will admit to a small tear in my eye when I opened it!

But sadly only enough left now for a teeny tiny snowman. Still it's the thought that counts.

Patent leather high heel Dr Martens boots. Alexei Sayle would be spinning in his grave - if he wasn't still alive that is.

Just bought today and as you can tell I'm very pleased with them.

I never thought saving the economy would be so much fun!

I think I jinxed Spring!

After saying yesterday that Spring was just around the corner, today we had snow. And lots of it! Well lots by recent Stirling standards that is.

Pretty but more fun if you get to play in it instead of having to go to work.

Almost spring?

I saw this little beauty today as I was walking to the gym and despite the cold it reminded me that spring is just round the corner.
